Notarial services
Affidavits, deeds, contracts and special powers of attorney. If you have no prepared document, we can draft it for you.
Many documents must be notarized to be accepted by government offices, banks and courts. Notarization requires that every person signing appears personally before the notary public with proper identification.
How we can help
- Affidavits (loss, discrepancy, support, two disinterested persons and others)
- Deeds of sale, donation and mortgage
- Special and general powers of attorney
- Contracts, lease agreements and other agreements
- Extrajudicial settlements and waivers
- Drafting the document if you do not have one yet
How it usually proceeds
- Bring the document. Bring your prepared document, unsigned. If you have none, we can draft it for you.
- Personal appearance. Every signatory must personally appear before the notary public. A document cannot be notarized for someone who is not present.
- Identification. Each signatory presents at least one current government-issued ID with photo and signature.
- Signing and notarization. The document is signed before the notary, entered in the notarial register, and sealed.
