How it usually proceeds
- Consultation. We discuss the facts and which remedy fits your situation.
- Preparing the petition. We gather documents and prepare the petition and supporting affidavits.
- Court proceedings. Family cases are heard by the Family Court. The State, through the prosecutor or the OSG, takes part in nullity and annulment cases.
- Decision and registration. Once final, the decision and decree are registered with the local civil registry, and the marriage record is annotated with the PSA.
